Books by L'esprit Ministries
Members of L'esprit Ministries have authored several unpublished books for your enjoyment and growth which
chronicle the ideas we deem important. Following is a list of these titles and a summary of their contents:
"Into Solitary Places- How One Family of Faith Found A Cure For Severe Mental Illness Through Love and Prayer "
This book is soon to be published and will be found on Amazon.com
"The Temple of the Spirit- Life in the Spirit for the People of God"
This writing highlights how we change in the Christian walk and is based on six principles found in Scripture,
which are as follows: Regeneration, Reformation, Renewal, Restoration, Return, and Reflection.
Each of these principles is essential for our growth in Christ and, in combination, enables us to transcend
ordinary living to be a radiant display of God's glory. What we find is that God, specifically the Spirit, does it
all. The Christian life then becomes more about what we don't do rather than what we actually do. Leading
a quiet life of stillness gives God a chance with us rather than the life that is defined by the busy scurrying of
nervous motion.
"Living Stones- Building Up the House of God In and Around You"
This writing is about the house God has been constructing all along. This sanctuary was first physical, something
readily seen in the natural world, yet this temple is now inside every believer. Christ is the chief Cornerstone, the
Living Stone, in God's house, and we are living stones built up into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering
spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God. To put it plainly, together we are the great house of God, not only physical
but mostly in a spiritual sense, and this house is constructed and fortified as we walk humbly with our God. As
we grow the house of God grows. This book entertains the subjects of the power of the cross in our lives, daily
spiritual practice, our spiritual anatomy, the essential losses of our walk of faith, how we can glide into eternity
through the pose of abiding, and how to develop an attitude of ascension.
"A Spiritual House- The Church of God in Changing Times"
This writing is about the Church of God and her role in this age, receiving input from God's word and the example of
the early Church, which we seemed to have strayed from to a measure so great that it may be a long road back. We
begin by looking at the spiritual gifts, which are referred to as the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.
Why we neglect or do not believe in some of the gifts that are most vital for our times is a travesty. The Church
is impotent without them. We then look at the appointments, servant leadership for the people of God. Why we
disregard the implementation and use of elders is also beyond me. There is also consideration of spiritual warfare and
a Kingdom advancing, God's great army assembled for movement and how this will be culminated in the final age; true
evangelism, which is referred to as revelatory outreach, and how the church is to create an appetite for God's salvation
through prophecy and miracles; the gathering of believers, which is to be a spirited assembly run by the Spirit of God
and not any human program saturated with human effort. No, it will be God's people gathered in power; and then there
is a closer look at the Church in the final age, a chapter entitled "Rise up, O Church of God." Which we shall do as we
were meant to very soon.

"Miguel's Reprisal"
This is the story of Miguel de Molinos, Tom's favorite mystic of all time, who lived in Spain yet influenced most
of the known world during his lifetime. Dr. Molinos was one of the greatest church leaders of the 17th century,
people loved him and gathered in large number to hear him speak, yet his following threatened the established
church hierarchy. Consequently, false charges were brought against him and he was sentenced to confinement.
This is the accounting of what it must have been like for Miguel to spend the last ten years of his life in a cell,
estranged from all human contact, yet the Lord was assuredly with him. What do you do when you are stuck in
a room with God for ten years? The record of his trial was placed in a sealed vault in the Vatican and there is
one person (i.e. Tom) who would love to get his hands on these transcripts. This book has yet to be completed,
in fact, only fragments of it live in the semi-porous mind of one of our board members.
